Got given a 98 1.2 60sx which needed a new clutch or so i was told!
Originally was told it was the clutch bearing that was making a lot of noise as well as the clutch slipping. Took the gearbox off today to find out that it is the gearbox making the noise as the clutch bearing is in perfect condition and the only reason it is slipping is because its covered in oil from a leak!!
Its quite a severe leak and it appears to come from where the engine meets the gearbox, it leaks quite severe as in when the engine is running i can see a drip every 20 seconds or so.
I may as well check/repair all bits that can leak from this end of the engine so any ideas? its not the rocker cover as that has been done and it is dry around there.
