Technical oil filter

Hi guys I'm doing my oil soon while I do it is there any performance filters you would recommend or should I just use halfords own brand this is for a mk1 60s

The Halfords one will be just fine.

A performance Oil filter is basically bending you over backwards and giving you a good seing too

Any Standard filter from halfords or a auto Parts shop will be perfectly fine

Regular changes are a good thing

Thanks iv seen a k&n one on eBay for a mk2 looks pridy but I don't think it would fit shame thanks

Ok just to check from memory it was 10w40 oil about 5lt? That's just a guess I'm on a phone and can't check

A very good investment would be a Haynes manual. All the basic answers & more. Wont turn you into a mechanic over night, but a very useful book non the less.

Yep. Semi synthetic. Again, Halfords own will be fine, but ther GM or Lucas stuff your "real;" factor sells will probably be cheaper.

vauxhall are usually cheap on 10/40
leave the k and n for the haynes museum

Cool I have a haynes manual I just don't cart it round with me lol my memory is better than I through thanks guys BTW I think Tesco are doing deals on oil atm
