Technical Oil change reset

Should you reset oil change on multi scan ?
I've done oil change and see on multi scan I can reset oil , but I'm not sure if it's needed or not as at the moment van running perfectly and I don't want to cause any problems by doing something I don't need to ...?

If you can do it I would do so. One less thing to chuck a spanner in the electronic works.

on a euro6 there are 2 service resets to complete. One connect to the engine ecm and the other to the service module (requires yellow adaptor). If the engine reset is not done the ecm will eventualy go into limp mode.

Depend on car, mostly with DPF need one or two procedures to reset oil life calculation and DPF regen procedures.
