Telewest announce that there increasing BB speed again,for free!!!!

The details

These are the new speed changes:

* blueyonder broadband 3Mb becomes 4Mb

The flagship 3Mb service becomes even quicker - a 4Mb connection which offers speeds up to 80 times faster than dial-up access. We're also increasing the upload speed for this service to 384k. Price remains £50 a month.

* blueyonder broadband 1.5Mb becomes 2Mb

The 1.5Mb service also gets a boost to 2Mb, for the same price of £35 per month.

* blueyonder broadband 1Mb

The standard service will increase in speed from 750Kb to 1Mb, but will still cost £25 per month.

* blueyonder broadband 256Kb

The entry-level 256Kb service will remain unchanged, costing £17.99 a month. (Currently offered at £14.99. Click here for more details).

Pity NTL and telewest don't compete....

The 256kb service is lame against the same priced NTL soon to be 1Mbit service.

Not sure about the others or the download limits etc. tbh.

i'm on the 1.5 at the mo' so looking forward to the increase. a merger of the two companies has been on the cards for a while and i s rumoured to be happening next year

great stuff - im on the 750Kbps at the mo, its a shame they dont put anything about their upload speeds - they are far too slow at the moment

Aren't the upload speeds the sae for all though?

Like the upload on 512 is the same as 1MB?

Might just be me being dumb though.
