Oh buggar - Car Tax help please

[Most Easterly Pandas]

Tax on the Panda 4x4 runs out at the end of the month and needs re-newing.

With all the stuff thats happened recently with dad and sisters smash etc I've left it until now to sort out and can't find any paper work (insurance cert that I only renewed this month, MOT, or log book )

So me thinks, all is ok, do it online. But it's asking for this Doc refrence number from the V5. So how on earth am I suppost to tax the car

Last thing I need at the mo

If I see the people in DVLA norwich, will they be able to sort me out tax

All the information you need is on the reminder the DVLA sent you. They check for MOT and insurance on the same databases the police use for their ANPR cameras.

I last was reading it in the back of the above car, and don't remember seeing it when we emptied her of personal content

Gonna search for it through the bags we filled in a bit.

Failing finding that, looks like I'll be off to the DVLA in Norwich me thinks

First time of taxing this car. Only brought it in Sept, and had Tax on it already

Yep but resulted in

Evil lady at DVLA office trying to make me look like a stupid lier!

Called DVLA before hand explaining problem, and they said I could tax it in office without logbook or MOT cert, then this evil moo said that they wrong, and that I'm stupid for misplacing V5, and that dad and sister and their recent event don't matter and she made me pay £25 ontop of tax to get a new logbook that I don't need

Needless to say the letter of complaint is going to be a long one! It's already over 2 pages long, and I'm not half way through it yet
