Hi,

i have a fiat bravo 1.8hlx 1997 and i was wondering what size wheels would be best. i was thinking 17".

does anyone know what the offset will be as well

best for what? if you mean handling and acceleration then 15s with 195/50/15 tyres would be best. if you mean getting into maxpower then 20" is best with 275/30/20 tyres, if you mean saving money on tyres then 13" is best with 165/60/13, if you mean style then the best is whatever you prefer. 17" fits fine on the bravo, i would use 195/45/17 or 205/45/17 depending on the width of the alloys.

offset depends on the size of the tyres, but assuming you make a sensible choice then you need 35-38mm offset.

Thanks alot. i dont think it will be as silly as 20". i am gonna go with 17's but how much can you lower it by without having to modify the archs.

again it would depend on the width and offset of the alloy, and the width of the tyre you use, but a 40mm drop should be fine.
