General Ode to my Panda

General Ode to my Panda

O'h how I admire the simplicity
Of my little Panda friend
I spent all weekend on my back
Under a BMW's front end.

My little Panda has simple things,
And parts are cheap as chips
But my BMW has complicated things
That need a degree to fix.

I know the little darling
is always falling to bits
but constantly bleeding knuckles
are getting on my tits.

We're nearly there now
the MOT is ending
Damn the ball joints gone
there's never a happy ending

A Scotsmans ode to his panda

Mans greatest folly is vanity,
his hunger to impress,
he prides himself on fancy cars,
and in his style of dress,
he mocks the lowly runaround,
wherever he may go,
but curses his own vanity
when his BMW spys the snow.

Oh Panda! Your squarely face,
is something to behold,
my eye it glints with many a tear,
when stories they are told,
of Italys favourite son,
gone and left the fold,
In many different guises,
from cabriolet to 4 by 4,
We only wish that Fiat,
had remembered to galvanise the doors.
