Technical No remote to open the doors (and no spare) - solution?

My saga continues.

My idiot bro lost the remote which opens the doors. No spare. He uses the key to open the car.

Is this something easy as a 2 dollar AliExpress crap? Or are we talking go to dealer to code it and pay more than the car costs?

In the uk its about £ 140 for a new remote key via a mobile locksmith any replacement has to be matched to cars ecu,s.
