The sensor could well have a lagging jacket on it, the pump could have coral reefs on the vanes. Anything that radweld touches is suspect.

did you found out why there was no hot air commin through vents?

It turned out that the heater matrix was clogged up with rubbish. I removed the 2 hoses at the back where they connect to the bulk head. put a hose in there and ran water at reasonable pressure for about 20/30 mins , connected it all back up and bleed the system. Worked like a charm

good that you bled it as im still driving around with gurgle and fluctuating temp gauge, removed antifreeze twice and still same ****
