Technical Niggly question...

Whats the little square blob thing* near the top of the front side windows? I've noticed them since the Bravo/a came out but to this day I still don't know what they are! Thought I better find out since we now own one!

I dunno, I wish I knew because they get in the way when I'm scraping the windows on an icy morning

As far as i know they are there to attatch those horrible plastic wind deflectors to.
