Hey this is my first car, havn't really done much to it yet. Just some punto mats and got a new sony head unit

Hopefully getting tinted windows soon and a custom pwerflow exhaust

yer i am pleased with it so far only had it 3 weeks, its on a 52 plate.

1 week after owning it this light came on the dash and it says in the manual your supposed to go to fiat dealership straight away- **** that, i cant afford to spend money on it, unless anyone knows how to get rid of it??

Which light is it? not the one that looks like an engine by any chance? Ive had 2 mk2 puntos in my time and thought they were great

If its the engine one flashing it means your cat is damaged, but a diagnostic check would clear that up.

No its an airbag light its red and it stays on.

Probably a connector under your seat thats come apart or loose, thats usually the case with airbag lights, connecters usually orange

Oh right might go and have a look under my seat then do you Know which seat/whereabouts i need to be looking?

depends how many air bags you've got, if its just driver airbag, then the connector will be under the drivers seat, but if you got passenger air bag you might have to check both seats. They tend to come apart on 3 door cars when you keep moving the seat to let people in the back etc

welcome mate. my mate had a punto like that and his airbag light came on when he slammed his glove compartment door too hard, it turned out to be some sort of loose connection behind there.

Well to fair in all the 3 door cars ive had ive never had an airbag light come on, id be tempted to take it back to the garage personally

yer, i got a 3 month warrenty from the garage i bought it from so i got 2 months to get it sorted before i would need to pay
