Hi, I have a 1979 Fiat 124 /2000 Spider convertible that has the original 28/32 carb on it and I have found a 32/36 DVG-5 for sale that is new and I'm wondering if it will work on my car? Will I have to do a lot of modifications like intake or linkages? Is it pretty straight forward of a job or complicated? Please any help would be greatly appreciated. My car wants to start sometimes and then it goes dead and then sometimes it just wont start at all, when it is running it seems like you have to keep giving it gas to keep it going, but then sometimes it runs ok. The PO put a Facet electric fuel pump on it and I can hear it running plus see the fuel filter fill with gas. Also how much fuel pressure is recommended for this Fiat?
