My name is Rick Hansen in Orlando Florida. I just picked up a 850 Sport conv. built 10/72. Got it running after sitting 15 years. Rebuilt the carb,new exhaust, and had the radiator serviced. I've been pulling fuel out of a gas can because the tank is so rusted. What is the best way to remove the tank? Also, What is the name of the screws that hold the tires on? Lug screws? I think the rims I have are not original because there are a lot of the screws in a coffee can in the car which are shorter than the ones currently holding on the rims. I'm missing 6.
I'm into British cars. Had 4 MGB's, 3 Midgets, 1 Spitfire, 1 TR7, and currently drive an 85 TVR 280i wit 10000 miles on it. Also am restoring an MGB right now. Hurricane Wilma slowed me down a bit but time to get back to work on her.
