by fitting 15" alloys will it affect my speedo in anyway at all, some people say it will as others say it will not
You have actually got a mk2 haven't you (just checked your other posts)
mog is right...on a mk2 15" should be fitted with a 50
tada
lol whos feeling smug
Shall we just turn this into a patting each other on the back thread lol
no i actually feel quite sad as i do it for my job and im supposed to be on holiday!
o well keeps ya out of mischief lol
btw...if you have any spare yoki A539's knocking about .. post them southwards
 maybe i will just shove my sporting wheels on the elx instead :chin:
good idea! im surprised they changed them! what too?
yes it is a mk2, not exactly sure of the exact tyre size will checkwhats your current size tyre?
mk1 needs a 45 profile as missy says.
mk2 and mk2b you can get a 50 iirc. think you can go up to 17s
it just for somereason 17 do look nicer, but 15 better for your car like the drive stresseseven if you went bigger with the wheels the difference in the speedo is only very small, (hardly even noticable), I recon it would knock it out by about 2-3mph at a speed of 60ish, I tried it with my civic after going from 15-17ins wheels and i have analog speedo, digital speedo and GPS speedo and there was only a really small difference.,
