hi

As you know, at the moment I have got a set of 15"s on my sei. Its lowered a little, and rubs quite bit on corners. So for a while now I have been thinking of ideas. And now I have decided to go for a new set of 13" split rims, and a new suspension kit, prolly apex 400mm springs+shocks or if money is flowing, FK coilovers!!
Couple of questions tho, I need the exact specs for the new wheels, as Im going to get them made custom, so they will fit perfectly without spacers. Second question is is 40mm going to be ok, or a bit low?

Anyone with any recommendations for suspension kits would be much appriciated.

thanks

joe

i'd go no more than 40mm on 13's

i had 55 and tended to ground on speed bumps, hills, and my driveway :(

I should hope 40mm are ok cos i'm fitting my new suspension kit next week! I'm sure you meant 40mm, not 400mm!!lol Super Low!

hi

thanks for the replies. I am leaning towards the coilovers at the mo as I can set it perfectly for the boot install and stuff then. they will lower it anything I like between 20mm and 80mm !!!! mega low.
Gotta get the wheels first tho. there a tad expensive tho. worth it imo.

cheers

joe

coilovers for a sei only lower the front, i have been led to believe, the back is set to -40mm

hi

yeah that is the only drawback
forgot about that actually, so ill retract my previous babbling about my ICE lol.

dunno, there expensive really, and i wouldnt change the setup more than twice a year, so standard kits would be ok.
I have found sets by apex and spax, anyone know of anyothers. Kits that is, including dampers and springs.
