Styling New to the site- advice needed

Hi, i have recently purchased a 1997 punto s, black, 3 door,

I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to improve looks on either exterior or interior, not looking for body kits just generally improvment.

Also, my oil light keeps flashing on and off when i start the engine but goes off when engine gets warmer or when i rev the engine whilst stationary, just wanted to know if theres a common fault or if anyone has a diagnosis.

I would really appreciate advice and help in maintaining my fiat

Im guessing its a mk1 punto?

You could put color coded bumpers and wing mirrows on, change the orange front and side indecators if not all ready been done.

as for the oil light have you checked the oil level?

either the oil pressure is too low = Light on
Or there is a damaged wire which breaking circuit causing it to flash

When its warm the wire expands inside and makes a better connectioN

when its flickering and you blip the throttle can you hear a grrrrrrrrrrrr noise?
because its quite possible the bearings in the big ends are shot on this age
of course it could be a blocked filter due to never being changed,seen these leaking due to corrosion before now

needs sorting soonest
of course it could be a faulty oil pressure switch

had a punto last year that had cracked its pickup pipe in the sump
took me ages to work out this though tried manually priming the oil pump changing the switch etc but the sump had to come off in the end

yeah, i thought about making indicators clear, all bumpers are the same colour as the car, black.

Ive been advised to buy a new oiler filter and buy a decent bottle of oil, that might sort it.

After long runs it sounds a bit like a tractor, but its give it a few revs and its okay, i think the engine itself is fine but is in need of tlc

wheres the best/cheapest place to look for lights, rims etc....

I would change the oil and filter first mate ... When was the last oil change ? Have a look at the service history ... I bet it`s low on oil and the filter needs a change if it sounds like a tractor .. Best to change oil and filter when you first get it then you know your car will be fine !

I know mate! few things to do, need the shoes doing on it this week, its just simply some tlc i think!

but took it to wales yesterday and came back today with no flashing lights on the dash, ran 80 down the motorway no problem

In my watching , any recommendations on rear lights, wanted something tinted , or something that will go with black well, dont think lexus style lights would be right some how

stick a killer bid on
go on you know you want them and mk1 puntos looked horrible with that yukky orange corner

OMG! I cant believe you put clear indicator covers over brakes......

FFS! Do the rear Shoes and Drums, it could save you an accident! Esp if the current orange ones still work perfectly fine!!
