I am thinking about getting one of the new style fiat circle badges to replace the old squarish one one my cinq.
I have seen that these are quite popular on ebay, and i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with doing this. i am talking about removal of the current one (will it damage paint work?) and sticking the new one on (what adhesive should i use?). Really any tips would be helpfull...

this is one of the badges i was thinking of...

sorry if anyone has asked about this before

Thanx,

Joe

£16?! You can get one from Fiat (blue though) for about £5 I believe...

But taking the old one off and getting the new one back on is a 5 minute job...
The new ones have 2 spikey bits on either side that you need to sand down. Then you can just bolt the new one on. If i remember correctly there is a little screw on the back of the badge, you just stick a nut on the end of it.

Thanx that seems easy enough...
i am not gonna get one off of ebay tho... such a rip off, i am getting one from the local car breakers.
so its a nut and bolt job, didnt think of that...i will check my one out now.

well thnx again,

joe
