General New speakers

Can someone recommend me some new speakers to replace the crappy standard ones? I don't know what size I need and what watts etc I should be looking for...

Preferably some speakers online cos I can forward the link to my sister as a subtle hint for christmas!

Best makes i would say are alpine,pioneer,infinity the front door speakers are 16.5cm you might just get away with 17cm ones and for the rear wouldint put any 6x9s in the parcel shelf as there nothing special the rear speakers im sure are 10cm better with upgrading the front and 10" subwoofer later down the line in the boot...

they seem decent

will you be running off standard headunit? would be advisable to upgrade headunit, and amp the front speakers for there full potential, as they probably wont go any louder than the standards on a headunit, my sony ones didnt.

well what ever you get, id amp em up, you can pick 2x100wrms amps up for £50-60 (jbl decent ones) £20 on wiring, and it will be loud and bassy too.
