New social group

As suggested by a couple of members, I've started a social group for Fiat owners and admirers called "Fiats with Furry Friends" so we can all chat about and post pics of our animal family members!

I've made it an invite only group, so if anyone would like to join just PM or reply to this thread and I'll send out an invite.

Just to point out it's not just for 500 owners, so all members of the site are welcome!

If you look on the group description, it does say scaly, so yeah fish count! Feathered friends too! I just draw the line at children. We can talk about dog guards and cat boxes but child seats are a sackable offence

so its in the 500 section but has nothing to do with 500's?
if you are sending invites to those replying then why not set the group to 'moderated' then you can vet anyone wishing to join
kinda defeats the purpose of groups if you have threads about the group

Its to do with 500s at the moment because it has come up in threads with other 500 owners in the 500 forum so I was trying to let them know first off as they showed interest. They are also quite new members so they may not venture all over the forum so I thought I would just give them a heads up without contacting them individually. If I had made it just for 500 owners, someone would have had mardies about that too.

Ill have a look at the moderated thing, as this is my first foray into doing anything like this I thank you for your suggestions and do bear with me.

If a mod would like to move this to a more appropriate area of the forum, they would be welcome to do so.

Good thinkin batman! Ill do the sig thing. Nah be too boring for jut 500 owners, need some other ones too so we get some rottweiler and staffy owners!
