new radio help

hi all 1st time poster, so please be gentle ive just bought a punto 75 sx and it had the original fitted radio, which i have removed, and like a plum chopped all the wires as the terminal block was different to the new stereo. now im at a loss as to which wires are which??? any ideas? also there are stereo controls on the wheel would there be wires for this???
