Hi all,
Dumb newbie question coming up!
Wife has just ordered new Punto Active 1.2 8v and is collecting next week.
I want to get a cd changer for her as dealer has quoted £169 for a single disk unit! and given her some rubbish about new head units running on 4.5 volts and claims aftermarket units won't work.
I went with her to see it and it had a Blaupunkt cassette radio with cd controls in it but I neglected to check for any model ID.
If anyone knows the Blaupunkt model type that would be great as I've seen a few changers on ebay and I am sure one must be compatible.

Thanks

Mate thats bull. Any single din cd tuner will work in your wifes punto. The only extra you need is a fascia adapter (bout £9.00) and away you go! (y)

Get an aftermarket cd tuner fitted then pop down to your dealership and show the salesman. If you really wanna stir, mention to him that you will be speaking to trading standards regarding the misleading information he gave. ;)

Are you wanting to fit a CD Changer to the existing radio/cassette thats fitted in the car standard? If so I think Carlos has got the wrong end of the stick ;)

Go down to the dealer and pick up an extras book with alloys etc in it. Find the CD Changer they use mark down the product number and search it somewhere on the net :)
