Hi guys and girls. just like to say hello and ask a simple question. Firstly this is my first Fiat, also my first Multipla. I have been wanting one of these for a long time. I got this old girl off ebay. 12 month MOT W(2000) reg Diesel with 84000 on the clock. For £720.
(1)There are a few jobs to do but My first job ran into a brick wall. Red Air bag light. Now some of the forums say under the passenger seat there is a orange socket.. Sorry but I cant see it. I even opened the carpet velcro still no Plug. Is it inside the seat ?
(2) injector light ( looks like a Torch ) comes and goes. The car doesnt loose power or acts choppy when it comes on. The light doesnt make any difference to the car. Any ideas.

Ive got a 2002 JTD SX and it hasn't got an orange plug either. So glad to hear it isnt just me that cant find it lol!

Cant help you with the injector light, but welcome to the forum.

I dealt with the under front seat connector on my last Multi - a 'W' reg diesel.

The connector isn't in the seat, it's on the floor, left hand front of the n/s front passenger seat.

The problem is dissimilar metals corrosion between the electrical cable and the crimped-on metal connectors. Can sometimes be fixed by spraying with electrical contacts cleaner from Maplins, but in my case this lasted only a few hours.

If you check through my posts, you'll find how I dealt with this. You may or may not choose to do this - others have, and presumably others have not. But I can't be *rsed with the cries of disapproval from some forum members.

I'm not looking in the seat though, im looking under it, on the floor and to the left side. Believe me, it aint there (and im not disputing anything you say!)
I'd be more than happy to repair it as posted in your previous post, if only I could find the ******* thing !

Can you post a piccy of exactly where it is? And I'll then do the same to show where mine isnt!

Thanks for that but as tiny says It just isn't there. I take it some have it and others, just dont. My multi is also a w reg diesel.
