Hi everyone just introducing myself.I have just bought a Qubo 2012 today, hoping to ask a few questions over the next few days. Thanks very much.

Hi chubbs61, Welcome to the wonderful world of the Qubist/Fiorinoist, great little cars/vans.
Any questions ask away, no doubt one of us will get back to you.
Cheers Qube O.

Hi everyone having bought my qubo yesterday unfortunately I have discovered that one of the sliding doors will not lock either remotely or manually so the car has been left unsecure on the road. I have rang the dealer who was quite sympathetic saying he would arrange for me to take it to a garage who he deals with which is closer to my home but it may take a couple of days to book it in. I,m not that concerned as it is parked on my drive with a works van blocking it in.

Secondly the car has not been serviced since April 2014 even though its only done 9800 miles and only 3200 from its last service would you recommend I get it serviced asap it has 3 service stamps and was a ex mobility car.
Finally looking through all the documents I have found the owners handbook is missing everything else is there eg sound system blue and me warranty service booklets etc.I will mention this when I speak to him tomorrow I assume I will be able to get a replacement from my local dealership.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

what engine ?, a DPF equipped diesel will need more specialist servicing;)

Don't worry about it. If you have the diesel Dpf it simply requires a specific reset in the Ecu for the oil degradation counter but anyone who does credible services should know. You can equip yourself easily enough. Shame about the door would suggest the close contacts are dirty but if it won't lock manually then probably just a miss located bit of mechanism they can fix. The manual was missing for mine too and it is also ex motobility.

Thanks for your replies Iforgot to say its a manual 1.4 my life just looked on ebay there is a owners handbook for £30 probably cheaper than ordering one from Fiat.

Don't forget, the owner handbook is also in the downloads section of this site....free!! ?

If it is an ex-Motability car, I would contact them
Code:
 http://www.motability.co.uk/about-us/contact-us/
and ask them to check.
Motability cars are supposed to be serviced according to the Manufacturer's schedule, even though my Doblo has only done 11,000 miles since 2012, it has been serviced annually as per Fiat schedule. If Fiat's schedule is Annual servicing then it should have been serviced in 2013, 2014, 2015 and had an MoT with the 2015 service.
For example, my book has PDI, 29.03.2012; First service 13.06.2013; Second service 03.06.2014; Third Service 21.05.2015 (earlier due to MoT)

Motability should have a full service history printout for the vehicle, which should have been handed over with it. Your other option is to contact the dealer on your service history, they should still have electronic copies.

The original customer may still have the owner handbook, but I don't know if they can put you in touch to check; I accidentally sent a Citroen Picasso I had before the Doblo back and realised months later that I still had the retractable boot cover (we'd taken it out as it fouled the wheelchair hoist, and forgot all about it).

Thanks for reply think I need to contact motability even though the car has had 3 services since it was registered in March2012 the last service being on April 26 2014 mileage was only 6590 it has only done3200 since the last service but I would have thought it still would of had a service in April 2015 maybe motability thought it did not require one due to the low mileage .The dealer who I bought it off has put a full mot on it as well as replacing a fault door lock plus a couple of other minor faults. He said it was not necessary to carry out another service at the moment but would recommend a full service at 12000 miles.
Would like to add the dealer has 40 years in family business and is a reputable and friendly business so am not too concerned at the moment as the car has come with a warranty.
Thanks again.
