New job?

I've had an interview today which was originally for a warranty administrator, but they interviewed me for basically a telesales job and after hours of thinking I would rather go for the warranty admin job, but if I get the position and they ring me what do I say?

I was thinking something like "can I speak to someone about the warranty administrator position as I want to consider that position as well"

I would of said something in the interview but I was too scared

i got put in the same position, i applyied for bar tended position but because i look young i got fobbed off on a waiter position which i didnt want.

still didnt bother to let me know anyway

At the end of the day, a jobs a job and it depends how much you need the money... but id never work in telesales, it'd bore the pants off me!

Yeah. Ive done inbound telesales for the past 5 years and I strongly urge anyone doing it full time to either be on a good commission scheme or work for a company selling stuff that you understand well and enjoy selling...

It'd give you something to enjoy about an otherwise fairly menial job!!

They rung me up today and offered me the job but I turned it down and said that it's not suitable for me and they were fine about it.

The job hunt continues!
