Ok, been looking this up:

Green = Positive Rep
Red = Negative Rep
Grey = Users reputation power was not high enough to make a difference.

Now it will get confusing. You have a reputation power based on Posts, Time Since Joined and Reputation Points. Only when you have a power of 50 can you start affecting other peoples rep (if you dont;' it will go grey).

Depending on your points, affect how much you can bump someones rep by. So the people with the higher reps, give more points to others (the forum assumes their word is worth more)...

Thats cleared alot up for me at least. Everyone else was just content with trashing the thread
