Technical new fiat marea auto owner,help please

hi all,just brought my first fiat marea 1600 auto.paid £440,is this good?
cars in good condition,and runs great.
few questions and i may sound thick,but here goes!!!!!!!!!!
it was a spur of the moment purchase,i needed a car and it was for sale.

whats petrol like on these motors?

first only got one key........a blue one,should there be more keys?
is it possible to get a new remote one,and is this car alarmed as standed?
i was given a alarm remote,but it looks like a toy and when i arm it car dont do anything!so i suspect its wrong one!



any help for a new owner greatly appreciated

A red key is required for certain ECU faults and to programme new blue keys. But you can get you existing blue key clones at most good locksmiths.

Not sure about the alarm, it could be fitted and have a fault.

Fuel isn't brilliant but the fun factor makes up for it.

Price sounds about right if it is otherwise in good nick.
