New computer/New Printer woes

They've set it all up but everytime they press PRINT it goes to open a file?

Any ideas? I've seen this happen before but can't rememeber what it was :bang:

What is the file it is trying to open?

Sounds to me like Document Fax Writer is the default printing as thats usually there before any other printer is. Use drop down in print options to select printer and also change default printer to HP one if thats the only one you will use.

Start > printers and fax

right click the hp printer and select default

sounds like the office xps printer has made itself the default printer
