Panda (Classic) New Classic Panda

Introduction

Picked it up today , it handled a 120 mile journey with ease and felt steady and secure at 70+

Needs a few things patching up but hopefully nothing to expensive or major

is that a special "no rust" edition? looks really really clean :D

Nice find Gaz :D

errm.... it has some rust - there pics in my gallery of the main bits , around the rear driver window, drivers door, boot seal, drivers sill on top and underneath

i was really quite suprised that the radio worked :D , needs a new arial or a bodge for now for a decent signal

this one doesnt have any speakers in the back which my dads did

i did notice it has leaf srpings  , should i be worried?

the rear panels have got circles marked on the back to guide your cutting, should you want to install the rear ones... i would if i were you.

all the 4x4's have got leafsprings... something to do with having a prop shaft where the omega axle would be on later models.

Congrates on finding a nice example...

It looks in good nick for a car of that age :)
A bit of cleaning inside and under the bonnet should make it look great!
Looking forward to seeing it at Gaydon. Just don't break it gaz! (Or glue your head to it) :p

the interior is in great nick apart from slick crack in drivers seat and grubby footwell, nothing a new set of carpets cant hide :p

a few things bodywise need sorting, but i was expecting that :D

Last week I decided to fit the bullbars I had taking space up in the garage. Here the result -

This morning I put a new 4x4 sisley transfer on the drivers door. It had been taken off along with the rust.

I had one spare so stuck it on the bonnet

Not sure if I like it :chin:
