If it needs new brake bits (read the threads about handbrakes, then you wil understand) It could be a couple of hundred pounds.
It all depends on where you take it.
Why not buy a manual and some tools and do it yourself?
If you are getting it serviced at a garage, make sure they do a full service, not just an oil and filter change.
