Having owned nothing but FIATs for around 11 years, my coupe being traded in against a Merc SLK next Saturday Just fancied something different and fun for the summer and this ticked the boxes

I'll probably turn up at Brooklands in a friend's Brava which will be very odd indeed!

It's the 230, 193 BHP, 0-60 in 7.3, so quicker than the coupe, but not stupidly so with an auto box.

I was thinking about keeping the coupe, but was given a good p/ex (dealer wanted it for his missus ) and I only do 5-6k miles a year so it would be daft to run two similar cars. I may need to get a sports exhaust to try to replicate the coop growl which I shall miss

I'll stick some pics up next weekend and yep, I'll stick around
