just wondering if any one can recommend a disent alarm system. ive got a N reg Cinq so dont need anything too pricey, just getting a sub and amp soon so want something to put my mind at rest

is there any problems when fitting them as ive got central locking and an immoboliser??

thanks for your help

Nah man, aslong as u get them pro isntalled they are fine.
Got a alarm on my cinq, took about 4/5hours for the guy to do it.
I recommend Toad, my one never seems to go wrong. It will work with the central locking so you will then have remote central locking, also it will ad a two point immobiliser (on the TOAD AI606) this basically, once you open the door if you dont start the car within so many seconds it disables all the electrics and the car just wont start at all.
Pm me if u wanna know any more details or anything mate, clifford are good but they are price too, sometimes even more than what the car is worth.
Also check with your insurance if you get discount for having a CAR 1 alarm.
Sometimes they dont give anything, but other times they can give you discounts.

cheers. thanks mate.

yeah i know about the insurance benefits because i wrongly quoted that i had one fitted, so its already down on my insurance that i have one. so wanna get one as soon as or i'll have to pay to get the insurance qoute changed

I know a good alarm engieer, on the new AI606's the siren is smaller which he fits to the inside of the car, they he hooks up the car horn aswel.
So you got a 124db siren blasting aswel as the horn aswel. And imagine the gits reaction when they break in and a 124db siren is blaring in that confined space!
