Hi All,

It's a lovely day - and my car is clean so decided to share a new pic with you all and a pic of new Abarth dust caps I got at Brooklands last week...

Cheers pals...WR have to agree about exhaust.. planning Supersprint back box after Xmas -just don't have the spare £ with Baby on the way (sounds like I'm wining I know) I really am lucky to be running two ace fiats (sorry about that 1980's word ace creeping in there)!!

You see want to get re-map done at roughly the same time as exhaust and combining the two jobs will be a little pricey. Then I shall go down Twincamms route of lowering...all so near yet so far!!

just one problem, unless you superglue them on they'll go mising shortly!

How much are they by the way and who sells them ???

That's true TC I'll let you know when they go missing!! They were £16 (not each!) from a stall at Brooklands...Don't know who makes them, the box just says Anti Theft Dust Caps (owing to the fact they're tightened using a grub screw) the Bar Code No is 5-028363-300051 part ref No 3000.05 - try doing some Internet searches? They also did ones with the Fiat logo which I wish I'd got for the Panda now.

Well done TC ...looks like I was ripped off then! still, only £4 difference could be worse - now I can get the Fiat ones for the Panda...

Also forgot to mention... used two new Products at the weekend Autoglym vinyl and rubber care (best of this product type I've used, the trim really shines but it's not greasy) and also Turtle Wax Extreme Tyre Gel (brings the tyres up really well - doesn't leave marks on your driveway unless you spill it like I did!

Looks ace, two notes for perfection:

1. aftermarket Exhaust, I think straight thru, let's hear that 2.4 burble ;)
2. Needs lowering to finish off the look!

I bought some anodised dust caps last week. I fitted them on a thursday, all four gone sunday morning
Then I see all the local scrotes with VERY similar dustcaps fitted to their bikes/scooters. I was tempted to simply steal them back and give the little scrtotum a swift slap, but I have no proof and at 23 frankly a little to old to hit kids. Unfortunately.

your never too old to hit a thief, beat the hell out of them and teach em a lesson

those dust caps would look brill on some of the chav bmx's round my area.

had 3 sets now 1 set was for my alloys which were anthracite ones done by tsw, now on some idiots bmx.

i have my abarth ones in the house and only use em when i not in my town or leaving my car for long.

my g/f thinks im stupid taking them off but even the anti-theft ones the kids walk around with allen keys to get em of so i rather be safe then sorry.

FAO Younger Modder...

Unfortunately, in todays society it is likely it will end up YOU who ends up learning a lesson when the police arrive at your door to arrest you for assault on a minor.

Right or wrong? I couldn't possibly comment

It looks like I've inadvertently started a 'Dust caps and their potential theft thread'!

Thanks for all the comments on the car though...
