i want the plastic inside my bumper taken out and meshed with a cold air feed in :)

my insurance company won't let me declare any more modifications now... so i can't really put poly's on, plus im not really that bothered about the lights

Not sure if changing the headlights would be classed as a mod... it's more of an improvement.

Polys give out a hell of a lot more light than the standards, so improving your view of the road.

Thats looks awesome man, iceing on the cake!!! major want!!

Anythin not standard is classed as a mod,i had a word with my insurance company and thats what they said

looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet that i like it

and yes anything non standard to the original spec is classed as a mod and the polys are only original spec on elx/hlx marea's so mine are classedas a mod also

cheers guys! yeah everything non standard is a mod, i even have 'exterior decorative changes' declared on my policy which covers the vinyl and the front grille being sprayed, they're that picky! :(

things like that i wouldnt bother declarin, just means if you have an accident and you dont declare the mods they dont pay out for them.
doesnt technically mean your whole insurance is invalid.

i only have third party fire and theft, so yeah it does... if i crashed into something and my car was modified and not declared as such i'd be up sh!t creak without a paddle :L

i think you'll find that if you dont declare all your mods and you do have an accident they can refuse to pay out and invalidate your insurance so you are then nicked for no insurance

car looks very good mate glad to see when people put some real effort into their motor, and trust me mate it shows! Under the bonnet looks like its had some time put into keeping it clean as well so well done.

ps i think it'd look good if you modified some HGT sideskirts to fit, not a massive job. And have you thought about the abarth rear spats? Sly Si is selling his if you would consider them.

dark lurker speaks sense, non standard parts aren't covered by your insurance anyway... they tell you that when you declare them

i'll be honest mate i do want some hgt sideskirts on it, i don't really like the abarth ones... i think someone on here was selling some in the right colour too but they never got back to me aha and i don't really like the abarth spats... prefer the back as it is :)

si has a set that he will be selling, but they are in dark blue. Still not a big job to do. Even have a go yourself at them?

i just remembered it was kee who has a set in the right colour so i just emailed him :) what do you actually have to do to fit them then, do you have to remove anything?
