I was washing my car two days ago and I noted it had two small scratches on the skirt/just beneath the the passenger door.
They could've been there when I picked it up, but I don't wanna complain about it. I've driven with passengers twice, plus I let my sister take it for a spin with myself in the passenger seat. So for all I know I could've scratched it myself.

They're very minor and you don't notice them unless you know they're there, but still... the car is just six days old.

Try Meguiars Scratch X! I had a few light scratches on my red mirrors and it removed them completely (y)

my wife went shopping yesterday in her week old seat ibiza sport when she got back to the car some toe rag had keyed the n/s 1/4 panel , i work in a porsche bodyshop so will be taking it in to see if it can be polished out

managed to kerb the alloys two weeks ago - very cross with myself! (n)Not sure if that counts as a "scratch"?

Sadly, scratches do happen. When I had my rear windscreen replaced at the dealership, the window fitter from the windscreen fitting franchise brought in was clumsy and left scratches on the top edge of the pasadoble red bumper. With Autoglym super resin polish, most of these polished out. The chips he left in the widow surround were down to primer. His company called in a cheap respray franchise to rectify the paint damage and they took a sledgehammer to crack a nut. They resprayed (terribly) half of the tailgate with non-matching useless paint. With retrospect, I should have gone around the frame and touched in the chips myself the best that I could.

The episode ended up with the Dealership attempting a full tailgate respray at their main bodyshop and still not getting things 100%.

The situation has been satisfactorily concluded by the Dealership swapping the tailgate off a pasadoble red demonstrator 500.

The lesson here is, don't run to a "magic respray" company with a transit van, gazebo and paint mixing equipment for small scratches. They could make a huge mess of your car.

Dont worry but thats nothing parked mine in work carpark, only 3 days old and someone dented and scratched the back wheel arch. Cost me £300 to be put right  Lucky Husband dont know who did it  Dont think it would be proper to tell you all what he said he would do lol.

just picked up my new 1.2 BNW dualogic lounge, my previous one was hit twice in 10 days.....1st, a young lad(only driving 3 days)pulled out of a side road and hit my nsf,10 days later a Volvo hit near side rear, the car was repaired but never felt the same, the new one has put a smile back on my face....the joys of motoring
