Whos or what darly? Whatever it is it sounds like a deal

he is my little boy, when shall i deliver him? can you get him a job down there too?

:ROFLMAO: at the above.

Tim its called a post code lottery. How many miles to you do a year? You live central London and so have public transport that I'd be greatful to have!

Sell the Punto if you can afford to run it and get a banger and insure thirdparty (y)

I dont need it. nor does anyone else in this world
need a car so when everone else
gets rid of there cars becouse they dont need them so will i(y)

Hardly a logical answer is it

What I'm getting at is you want something you can't afford in theiory, why not start at the bottom and work your way up  I have.

Why do you need a stupid amount of pandas?

Matter of opinion, and I don't (y)

I keep seeing these threads on here from young'uns complaining about the price of insurance and mostly saying they have zero no claims bonus.

Now when I were a lad and needed my first car in 1990, I bought a 1978 Escort Mk2 1100 Popular and insured it 3rd party fire and theft. The car cost £400 and the insurance was £280- fully comp would have been about £900 IIRC. After 2 years of careful driving, I had a nice no claims bonus giving me 40% off my insurance so I cold step up the ladder to a car that was worth more and so needed insuring fully comp. That was the way everybody did it back then- swallowed your pride for a couple of years as it was worth it in the long term. Nowadays, everybody seems to get put on their parents insurance... why is this? Have the insurance companies changed the no claims discount system or something?

When i first took out my own policy in my name it was £1900 FC, being on my dads policy it would of been £1400. 2nd year with 1 years NCB it dropped to £1300, if i had been on my dads it would of been £1400 again. 3rd year with 2ncb it dropped to £900, if i had been on my dads policy, again it would of been £1400. This year with 3yrs ncb it would of been £600 for me on my car if it was standard which is a bigggg drop for a few years work. One of my mates who started driving same time as me went on his dads insurance and is still on it. He is still paying the same as his first year and cant get his own insurance on anything quick for a decent price where as if i was to try and get insurance on some of the stuff he looks at i would be getting it a good few hundred quid cheaper :) Might be more expensive to start with but worth it in the long run.

Hardly a logical answer is it  Why do you need 4 classic pandas, a new one and a Stilo? If you expect Tim to answer why he should or should own something then you can justify why you need them all.

WTF Matt, that was a logical answer. You said stupid amount - I said thats a matter of opinion (hows that not logical when it is YOUR opinion), you said why do you need that many, I said I don't, Hows that not a straight forward logical answer?

Oh, btw Matt I only have 3 of the cars listed (Stilo and 2 mk2 Panda's), mk3 is my Sisters and other two mk2's are my dad's) (y)

Oh and to confirm Matt yet again I DON'T NEED THEM ALL (y) Difference is I want them and can currently afford them ;) :)

This is fun. You dont understand sarcasm do you?

Tim hasnt said he cant afford to pay the insurance just that he is unwilling to which tbh is fair with the stupid prices he is being quoted.

And so would I, which is why I started with a car the same age as me worth only £200 for my first year of driving.

At the end of the day that unfortunate fact is that Tim will be paying that for that particular car at his address.
