Technical need help on my punto exhaust

as the silencer box has rotted badly also if i got this one ^ do i need gaskets to fit with exhaust and where do i get them from and wheres the best place to get the exhaust from and fitted?,

but i ve seen on ebay you can get a straight through pipe which cuts of the silencer box

whats the best and what will pass mot i dont want the car to be to loud and to use more petrol etc.

Stnadrad exhausts will use no more fuel or make more noise

As for which part you need there is 3 parts
the mani-cat (A Manifold and Cat convertor in one)
Middle Pipe/Box - usually have the flexi on it, as for a pipe or box, makes no difference, the pipe will be lighter so in thoery its less weight = less fuel wasted

and Back Box is a back box

Most good local exhaust places will sell and fit you for a reasonable price
And if you do it yourself you will exhaust paste

the second link is more than sufficient for a punto and as said will be no noisier
your link is collection only though
i see you are in gateshead and i cant find a specific trade wholesaler of exhausts for you there but im sure there is one, however you do have an andrew pages in newcastle and including the vat they should supply at the counter for about £30
remember these bolt onto the manicat and the bolts often shear, if you havent got access to oxy /aceteline, they can be grinded off and the bolts replaced so consider this before you do diy as most garages including your link would do the job complete for around less than £50
dont go to a fast fit or they will try and upsell you to a complete system at $100 though

been to the garage got the straight through pipe on, but inside the car is more noiser now then the oem standard exhaust. its not leaking or anything just abit louder and it cost me 59.00 pound

I actually bourght one very simular to that it was a sniper race pipe there on ebay look em up , after fitted it there was more of a grumble and goes nice with a modified backbox , you woudnt notice much difference with a standered backbox
