Part of my exhaust front section has sheered off as i hit it off a bump 
now i need to find one lol and cheaply.

new exhausts cost a fortune on these cars, i got quoted £370 for a full exhaust fitted (exclusing manifold) and that was with a bit of shopping around. i'd suggest scrapyards, but it isnt easy finding good condition ones.

the manifold is fine its the front section that bolts from the manifold to the cat. Been quoted £50 so far.
ah yes the flexi joint, it often leaks because it is full of thin metal layers that bend during use allowing gas to escape. £50 is a lot for such a small piece, but if that includes fitting its not that bad. fitting isnt exactly hard but it is awkward if you dont have ramps or some way of getting the car right up in the air safely. a jack isnt going to be much use.

its not just the flexi. im replacing the full part from the bit that bolts to the manifold to the part that bolts to the Cat. got the full fron pipe for £45
