hey guys... the mrs has complained about this one now so you know its not right (ive learned to live with it!!)
after using the brakes for 1 good application (coming off a downhill slip road at 70 to a full stop) when i start moving again the N/S/R brake squeals like a pig... sometimes it develops into a lower pitch squeal, sometimes it doesnt. if i go round a roundabout the squealing stops then returns again when straightening up. same again with hitting bumps/little holes in the road it stops momentarily, then instantly returns! its doing my head in a bit now
thing is if you get a serious amount of heat into them they stop...
i've heard everything form partially seized handbrake mechanism/piston to sticky slider, non OEM pads to the pad retention clip. im gonna be stripping it this week and lubing up with some molybdenum grease but how do i check the handbrake mechanism for partial seizure? (these ain't no Haldex Air Brakes so im clueless)
