nice one m8 - its got less miles on it than my '01 sporting - debadging the rear is a piece of **** m8!, there are no holes or anything behind them, just be careful!

alfanige wrote this guide for doing it to the bravo and its much the same for the rear end of the sei

Is boiling water a good idea? I thought it might damage the paintwork?

well by the time you walk outside with the kettle it is no longer actually boiling, but i would recommend hot water as its the heat that affects the glue.

yeah i did my sei using the hacksaw string method - with additional help from the trusty blocknuster video card - but i did andy's bravo with hot water and it worked a treat.

Try a hairdryer instead of the hot water, after 30 secs exposure the gluey stuff behind the badge melts. Keep the dryer on the gluey stuff an scrape with said credit card. Clean an t-cut to remove any remaining marks. Did this with my sei and my VW Jetta before that.

Ps Do not substitute hairdryer for hot air gun. Mate did his Corsa like this an blistered the paintwork!!![:(!]

Only 899cc, but scares my missus 1000 12v corsa
