2 days ago I drove from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire to Llanharan Mid-Glamorgan to deliver birthday present to my sister (the things I do for that woman) and back .


Unusually for me I zeroed the trip on the computer and then noted the readings at journey's end.


Results: Total Mileage 334.00
Driving Time 7 hours 18 min.
Average speed 45 mph
Average mpg 50.5


This car is 54 plate ,I have owned it for 4 years and it continues to pleasantly surprise me with it's capabilities. I think that mpg figure is brilliant after the return thrash M4,M25,A41 at mostly 60-70 mph.

Wait till you realsie the trim computer lies.....

Best way to find out is to fill up, note miles from full to empty
and then work out the MPG from there
