hi i am new here and i am about to buy a 1.6 bravo and am seeing what you think of my plans

joy tuning front bumper

essex racing aggresser sideskirts or indy sideskirts

indy rear splitter smoothed into back bumper and maybe either make the number plate recess smaller or totally smooth it off

bump strips removed

strips in bumpers removed and smoothed

smoothed tailgate

smoothed front wings with indicators in dtm mirrors

de handled

bonnet grill smoothed

17's with polished rim nd black spokes

lowered 60mm on full suspension kit

dvd/monitor headunit

ps2 in glovebox

full boot install, mdf but maybe fibreglass

buckets in front

so what ya think? gonna be ok or look chavved up? i am hopefully trying to get it different than most bravos

there's a lot of work there!
Take for granted it will take much longer to complete and cost well in excess of what you expect!!

Why 'different? Style it to your own personal tastes by all means, but making it stand out isn't always such a good thing

I had in my mind how I wanted my bravo to look. We could be the last car and human being on the planet, and I wouldn't have styled it any different ;)

i know it will be alot of work, but i willbe able to have it done in a matter of only 2 or 3 weeks including spraying, the advantages of working in a bodyshop. i ike my cars to stand out from others of the same make/model, and i am all into the bigger bumpers/more far out body styling, but i think there is a limit to bravos and mine will be on that limit

i'd be wary of the joy tuning bumpers. it kinda ruins the lines of the car. it comes out a couple of inches futher than the original and makes it look a bit chavvy... just my opinion on joy bumper mind you.

Welcome to the forum! :)

OK - Anyone who puts a Joy Tuning bumper on their Bravo risks "Chavving" it IMHO. I think they look awful and totally ruin the Bravos beautiful lines.

As for the rest of it, despite all having been done before I don't think it's all been done on the same car so may be interesting.

At least you don't list Lexus Lights! ;)

Abarth Valve Caps ;)
Bonnet Lifters
Personalised High Level Brake Light
Starsky Cardigan :)

y can you get lexus lights for the bravo, i think they could have to potential to look good unlike others

i will never ever put lexus lights on any car, or any neon washer jets or neons at all, only maybe 1 or 2 in the boot showing the install off!
i have only seen 1 picture of the joy tuning bumper and its from the front so i can't see how much it sticks out, i do like the bumper but hate bumpers that stick out and i am not into the indy front, i may have to get something made like the joy tuning bumper but so it is closer to the front end.
the ps2 matter, well i will either put it under the front seat or under the glovebox or summet.
thanks for all your comments

which sideskirts would people prefer, or suggest, i am torn between the 2 or if anyone has any other suggestions pleae let me know, and the same goes about front bumper, i don't really want the indy front splitter so any suggestions would be a big help, thanks

Re: Bumpers

cheers Dan
I've not seen that Italian bravo site before
Cool as f**k

Re: Bumpers

i am not liking that bumper, i am looking for something along the lines of the joy tuning 1, but can't find anything, looks like i may have to get a custom bumper made

which sideskirts do people prefer?

Re: Bumpers

The playstation won't fit in the glove compartment. They doo under the seat but you have to ensure you have enough ventilation. I also know a guy that has one of the smaller slimlined PS2's attached to his ceiling upside down which works really well and looks pretty cool.

Re: Bumpers

i was going to make a bracket thing for under the glove box because i will have an amp under both of the front seats
