General My New Fiat Punto Grande Failed MOT

Right then, got contadicting information from fiat uk and the dealer....dealer said clutch needed swapping....fiat uk sent someone down and says it doesnt????

I had a really strange noise yesterday as i parked it.
I was parallel parking and as i turned the wheel left and give it some revs it sounded as though a boat had just pulled up next to me????
Like a droan....strange....any ideas????

If you were reversing it is probably the rear brake pads - usually need some grease in their holders to stop vibrations ( search this thread for whale noise )

ta for that mate....it seems to have sorted itself....maybe its the crap weather we are having.
