My new car?!

My new car?!

They wouldn't let me do it myself, they would be too scared we would muck it up and ruin the engine.

We have loads of tools, until about 2 years ago we did all our maintenance ourselves (now time is more important than money for them) but my dad likes to get things done "properly" these days. I am not sure who will have to pay for it.

Tyres are 3k miles old, never had any problems with that, most we have done is replaced something of the rear susp. but can't remember what as it was a couple of years ago. We have owned it for about 3 years so it's not an unknown quantity.

The stereo CD player is really good and of course has controls at the steering wheel as you say, but then again so did a 1989 r21.

And the wheel controls means you don't have to move your hand away from the wheel just to alter volume etc.!

And the Renault 25 could tell you via voice that your brake light was out in 1987!

my nan had one of those (y) a Monaco one :D i remember being scared the sh*t out of when i turned the ignition on to be told "WARNING!!! THE BOOT IS OPEN!!!!" I was only a little kid, was scared of it for ages after that :p

"You" don't Dave :p Of course you have to put the fewer times the better!

I love the voice synthesis, it's the same in the safrane although not on the RT laguna, maybe on higher models?

Dad had an N plate, Laguna RT 1.8
chewing tyres if tracking not dead on and also wearing out suspension bits prematurely i.e. wishbones and struts.

reading renault forum posts, this is still a problem... even on my soon-to-be megane but something to do with rear camber and toe angles...

FIAT is even slated on it for reliability/build... i say try a Rover 1.8 K-Series engine ;)

I looked for a megane one too (thought might be a place to find a megane for myself looked after by people who know) but couldn't find one either :(

Paul there is an English-speaking section on that website - you could be the first to post.
