I certainly miss my Sporting but here's some pics of my new car (taken on phone) which I'm loving!

I know it's not italian, but hey, at least it's not german :D

Ooooo.... the new fiat punto??? looks more like a renault clio sport to me! ;)

Yer it's a Clio Sport 172 Cup, it's the hottest hatch I could get with the money, and it's very quick, at least compared to my Sporting.

Gives me a nice smile on my face :D

I would have got a faster Punto, but the HGT just wasn't hot hatch enough really!! :S

Liking it, especially the colour. Guessing the smartie in the background of the first pic ain't anything to do with you?

Nice, thats not the 3.0 V6 one is it? Not a fan of clios much, looks Ok from the outside, but the driving position isn't much good for me; can't get the seats low enough.

There's a lot of differences between my old punto and this (more than I can be bothered to say).

But I certianly do miss the Punto, but this is a completely different drive.

It's not the V6 (I wish), they're just too expensive, and the insurance, well that's another thing.

It's the quickest Clio below the V6 though :D

Nice colour, liking the car. (y)

Of course it would be better to stay Italian but at the mo, the Renault has no peers at the price that they are. :)

I see BB Performance tuning are in the process of putting lots of miles on their 172 Turbo which is running 270bhp to iron out any glitches, reliability issues, but will be released to the buying public as 250bhp kit, much the same as proper car manufactures do, test the engine at at higher level with the thought process being it will be very reliable at at lower level. :D

The 0-62MPH times supplied by Renault show mine to actually be quicker than the new 182! :p

I would have got a brand new if I can afford it, but for now, at least I can say mines quicker than the new ones :D

Re: Not bad...

Thats beautiful.

I adore the looks of the RenaultSport kit on those. That must handle dead well, cos my mother's 1.4 Sport was good. (Scratches chin considering finance packages) ;)

Good luck with it!

Re: Not bad...

Have I died and gone to Renault heaven, nice car AND people saying they like it?! On FF?! :O lol
