Hey all, wanted to share with you my new baby, what do you think?

Also I am trying to find lowering springs for it, can anyone tell me if these ones will fit. ( I cant post link as I'm New)

Details about Fiat Punto Mk2 1.2 1.4 188 09/99- Lowering springs 50mm

I found these on Ebay but don't know if they will fit on mine.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

as its the 1.4 sporting it already has a much firmer ride and harder suspension, if you start fitting cheap aftermarket lowering kits you will destroy the handling and comfort.

as others have said if it aint broke don't fit it and it looks like a very nice clean unmolested car, about the only thing it needs is the illegal tint taking off the front windows before the police spot them

It feels like a boat to drive though ha-ha, I had a "sports" car before this so very different in handling. Other then lowering it, and tinting the headlights, its the interior I will be redoing as it is extremely tatty on the inside.

My old 2004 Active 5dr drove tidily, lol! Have you got pics of the interior?

No I havent, its just the seats the fabric is all stained and zips broken ect... just gonna re do them. The gear knob falls of to lol.

Takes me back 2 years to my first 'test drive' of a car, 1.2 punto, soon as I shut the door the gear knob fell off and I just got out and walked away

Bit of glue or a new one from scrap yard will do

Yeah it came of in my hand when I test drove it, thought it was quite funny, I could feel it moving about before hand. I want to get a yellow one any ways to match with the car.

Hmm, not aware of any for this model, I have seen later Fiat's with red stitching, unless you wanna stitch it yourself..sure Google will throw something up

Have you considered Alfa leather seats?? Would look mint. Nice car and welcome to the forum btw

Leather is nice but I don't want to burn my bum hehe, I was going to re - do the chairs is yellow and black material, and so the door cards in yellow leather.

There I's a company based in Warrington that re trim car seats..
Its not actually leather but you carnt tell the difference..
They quoted me 250 to do the seats and door cards ...

IWork in the taxi trade so isee these synthetic leather seats regularly and they take some abuse..

Its worth looking on Google there will be a fair few company's doing these now.
You more or less design them your self and then they do the work..

I'm getting mine done shortly..
