Hello Everyone

This is my first post and well, as my name suggests its a silly one, :bang: . I have recently purchased a V Reg Brava SX due to a new addition to my family, I'm gonna be a Dad. But the problem is I dont seem to be able to find the catch to open the bonet, I wanna see the engine :D.

I didnt get a manual with the car and I didnt wanna seem stupid going to ask at the garage I got it from(coming on here seemed the best option.

If anyone could help it would be great, thanks in advanced and I WILL be back with more silly questions, you can bank on it.

Thanks

What is worrying is that you didn't seem to look under the bonnet before you bought it . Haynes manuals are avilable, also when I got mine it came without a manual and Fiat were able to supply within a couple of weeks for £7. As for stupid problems when you first buy - well I hadn't been in a car with lift-reverse gears before and it had me crying on the phone to my dad in the asda car park . Anyway, welcome and congrats on your purchase and new bubs-to-be :D

Hi sillyquestion,
Welcome and Glad you found the bonnet catch thing...nearly caught you out then !

Helz,
I know the feeling...way back my second car was an automatic. The second day I got it, I went to turn the ignition key and click! click! was all I got in reply .. not a sausage. All I did on the first day was to take the car home and give it a little bit of inside cleaning. Anyway, embarrassingly, I called the garage up and the reply was "Are the gears in Park/Neutral ?"...Oops ! :p
