Punto (Mk1) my mint absolutely standard mk1 punto

yep all the weeks and weeks of servising cleaning and polishing have finaly paid off i now have a realy mint car and it only cost me 75 quid due to key code problems wich i fixed with some second hand bits from ebay i now have a full set of keys 1 red and 2 blues

things i have changed from original

1 bent the rods to the door lock fingamee to make it imposible to brake into with packing strap when locked as this is a suprisingly easy way to brake into any car of this eara modern cars tend to have the button desent into the door out of sight now

2 i fit some aero blades cos the standard wipers lifted off the screen at 90

3 kenwood head unit and 10 disk changer

things i have replaced with original parts
1 engine ecu code ecu and red key chip also 1 new red key

engine sump, oil and filter, colant water, fan swich, front suspension top mounts, brake pipes via recall, almost all engine oil seals, air filter, spark plugs and leads,

nealy forgot its a punto s 1.2 8v 60 for those of you who cant tell from the pics

also mine is't got 100k on the clock but a good runer mabey requiring a head gasket soon

it might be a little dificult to sell with no wing i'm afraid
but you could buy the car off me and sell the rest of the parts on ebay

i need to find some sort of black paint for the sills as they are clean just a bit faded

i was finking the same fing about the tyres too

i was actualy thinking about replacing with pirelis and then painting the word pireli silver or something what dya think

thanks it took me almost 12 hours of t,cuting all told to get it red again followed by diamondbrite to keep it red wich i now apply ones every 4 weeks

i learnt a realy cool trick for making the bumpers black again and making them stay black for years without doing anything to them

just woft a heat gun over them about 3 to 4 inches away you can literally see them turn dark again right infront of your eye's as the plastersiser comes back to the surfice much better than back to black and dosent give them a nasty shiny efect

see whacha mean about the cills i have now painted them in black hamerite they look brill i also gave the brand new sump a coat wile i was there should keep it from rusting for at least another 10 years

i just started Tcuting the roof again but this time i'm spending a little more time and efort on it i just cant stand looking at it any more i realy makes a diference if i wasnt so tall i might not notice the bits i missed but i am so i just had too

dont know why i rushed it so in the first place are well all will be right soon
