er virgin lol i used teh good old turn the box on and off tactic

if MSN works, but most other stuff then it is a DNS fault.

start > run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

if that doesn't work, reboot the router. if that doesnt work, then your ISP has a DNS fault and you should bin their DNS and use openDNS
