Hello everyone,

Two weeks ago my Fiat Grande Punto from 2007 (1.3 Multijet) Diesel engine stopped working on the road, when I want to start from a crosswalk the engine was shut down.

Tried to power on but without success.

I replace the battery with another one and the issue is the same.
The motor wants to start but it seems that it doesn't have enough power.

I tried to read the errors from the diagnosis with an (ELM 327 USB Interface) but it doesn't want to connect to it. I tried multiple times but without success.

Can anyone tell me what should I check? Any fuse that I should check? Any sensors which may cause this issue? Corrosive contacts at the car computer? Is the car computer dead?

If you need any other information I will provide ASAP.

Thank you

Hi :)

Check the Black cable going from
Battery to Chassis to Gearbox is still good ;)

I will check it tomorrow.

I forgot to say that the fuel pump can be heard before trying to start the car, also the lights can be shown on board.

can the distribution chain be broken?

Any other things that I should check beside the black ground cable?
