that thing on the back is called the bonnet. it should be on the front.


what engine has it got? i've seen RV's with sierra engines in the uk. seems a bit wrong really.

arrr i wondered why it dint look right on the back.

it,s got a 1600 pinto but puting 2000pinto in, fast road cam, twin 45's, and bigger pistens, my other rv has a 2.8 efi engine in.

Why do you want a fast road cam in it? you want a cam that gives good torque

please dont use the carb'd 86bhp unit.

i have my engine set out because i did it 2 my rs escort and it was rapid and the jeep weighs less (700kg) when it was in the rs it was prodjucing 130bhp and i think thats ok. took the body of monday, going to leeds tomoz geting repaired, now working on its chassis and starting to sand it down, i was working onit till 11last night, post pic's tomz.

cant stop working on my jeep, been onit since 5am this morning with my son till now, had couple of breaks. repainted the back axle, and front sub frame back on the 4 wheels now, and the new brakes and suspension is on, welded the tank on today.

My dad built a Rickman Space ranger with a 2 litre pinto in it.. suprised a few boy racers in it's time. Wonder if it's still about somewhere?

i looked at those rickmans before this, was it the 205 block in the rickman, im putting fast road cam in mine and twin 40's and few extras, did it to my escort and it was like s*** of a shuvle, 130bhp

thought it wud take me winter, looks like im going have to find another project.

ohh, i have one of these, based on a cortina 2.3V6, built it with my dad when i was really young and they gave it to me when i was 21, been meaning to rebuild it with a 3.5V8 from rover for years now.
